These are so popular at the moment!
Grow your own is huge this year. If you think you don't have space for a fruit tree, think again. An espaliered fruit tree is trained to stay against a fence or wall.
Not only does it grow great fruit, it has blossom in the Spring and covers up boring fences and walls too.
It's easy to look after, the shape is already there so you just prune any sticky outey bits in August/September and that's it!
Apple James Grieve is a dessert apple, nice and juicy so great for juicing. Good flavour too.
This tree is semi self-fertile which means you don't have to have another apple tree nearby but it might fruit better if you do.
Apple Discovery is an early fruiting variety, super juicy and disease resistant.
You will need another apple tree somewhere nearby so they can pollinate.
This is a two tiered tree (has two arms on each side) in a large 15 litre/ 33cm diameter pot.
You will need to put wires on your wall or fence to tie the tree to.
(NOTE: the tree in the photo is a four tier tree not a two tier)
